New Samsung Galaxy A53 leaked: Thinner body and no headphone jack

Earlier in March, Samsung had announced the Galaxy A52, which was their take on a mid-range smartphone. Since then, the device has been getting a lot of praise from users, and Samsung has been trying to capitalize on this to try and get the most out of its A-series lineup. Now, leaks of the new Galaxy A53 have surfaced, with a questionable change to remove one of its ports.

Renders of the device were released by a reliable source, @OnLeaks and Digit.in, showing that the design is extremely similar to the Galaxy A52, with the biggest visual change to the back panel, thanks to a redesigned camera bump. OnLeaks reported that the device is only 8.14mm thin without the bump, making it slightly thinner than the A52.

The biggest reveal, however, comes with the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack – a change that many users would be disappointed with. But that was the only difference that was shown, and everything else seems to be the same – from the USB-C port, volume buttons on the right, and the punch hole selfie camera design on the top of the device, the device looks more or less the same as its predecessor.

But keep in mind that all of the new Samsung Galaxy A53 leaks have not been officially announced, and it is only a brief look at what we should expect from the device. However, we did not get any specifications about the smartphone, so be sure to look out for more updates on the device.
