Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G launched in Malaysia: Priced at RM1,899

If you’re in the market for a midrange smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G could be a good choice as it now comes with a more powerful chipset compared to the original Galaxy A52.

The phone packs a Snapdragon 778G which is built on a smaller, more efficient 6nm process, has a 9% higher clock speed, and scores 35% higher on the AnTuTu 9 benchmark. The Galaxy A52s also comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Elsewhere, the phone packs the same specs – think a 6.5-inch AMOLED 120Hz display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, a set of stereo speakers, a 64MP quad-camera setup (64MP main, 12MP ultrawide + 5MP macro + 5MP depth), and a 32MP selfie lens.

The phone also comes with a 4,500mAh battery and support for up to 25W of fast charging, but we’re unsure if Samsung will be including the 25W charger in the box this time – something they didn’t do with the original Galaxy A52.

The phone is available in Violet, Black, Mint, and White – you can purchase the Galaxy A52s 5G for RM1,899 – which is the same retail pricing of the original. Visit Samsung’s website here to make your purchase.
