The Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones have impressed so far – each iteration offers value for money for those heading into the budget and mid range market.

The Galaxy A50 was one of the highlight models and it looks like it will be one of the first from the series to get a successor. Renders of the Samsung Galaxy A51 have surfaced showing off an interesting “L”-shaped camera setup.

It looks like there are four cameras at the back housed in a rectangular module, one more than the Galaxy A50s. Rumours are suggesting that the setup will look like this – 48MP main, 12MP ultrawide, 12MP telephoto and 5MP depth sensor.

The display is said to be a 6.5-inch, punch hole panel, and it looks like screen-to-body ratio percentage will be in the high 90s.

Under the hood, we can expect an Exynos 9611 chipset along with 4GB of RAM – odd, considering the Galaxy A50s has 5GB RAM. Could there be a Galaxy A51s with more RAM perhaps? We could be seeing the phone arrive sometime in the middle of next year.
