Rumors indicate the Nokia 9 and a refreshed Nokia 8 will launch on January 19

It would seem like the number of phones Nokia released in just a span of a year is a lot, but it seems like the company is not done yet as new rumors have surfaced indicating that not only the Nokia 9 will be released in January but an updated version of the Nokia 8 will also be released, as they are preparing for an event on 19 January in China.

Based on the previous leaks the Nokia 9 will come with a 5.5-inch QHD screen, Snapdragon 835 processor and IP67 certification, making it dust and water resistance, dual-camera and no headphone jack. The Nokia 8, on the other hand, will come with the same specs as the Nokia 9 but the screen will be an 18:9 ratio screen. Both the phones are also said to come with customizations for the Chinese market but there are global variants of the phones that are reported to be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in February.

The Nokia 9 will come with a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant which is rumoured to be priced at 3699 Yuan and a 128GB storage variant priced at 4199 Yuan. Sadly, there is no news on the Nokia 8 but we expect to see more rumours when the launch date is nearer.
