Resident Evil Village now available for iPhone 15 Pro and selected iPads

Apple put us in awe when it showed off the gaming capabilities of the A17 Pro chip on the iPhone 15 Pro, and if you’d like to test out Resident Evil Village, which is one of the featured games on stage, you can finally do so as it is now available for download on the App Store.

This isn’t the first time that Apple has showed off the game working on Apple Silicon, as it previously showed off the very same game running on macOS, and it is a real breakthrough that Apple and Capcom managed to bring the full game to mobile for the first time, while showcasing the graphics performance and ray tracing capabilities of the A17 Pro chip.

The game is available as a free download on the App Store, which allows you to sample the game and purchase the full version as an in-app purchase for RM65, which is 60% off the usual price and the Winters’ Expansion DLC,  this is a really commendable effort.

The game offers on screen controls, but for a better gameplay, you might want to pair it with a controller as the amount of controls will definitely confuse you, as it is a game meant for consoles, playing on touch isn’t going to bring the best out of the gameplay.

Resident Evil Village supports iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, iPad Air 5th Generation, iPad Pro 11-inch 3rd Generation and later, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 4th Generation and later.
