Reports indicate the Nokia 9 will come with a notch and under-screen fingerprint sensor

There might be another company that is joining the notch-phone party, and it could be a new flagship from a well-known phone brand. That’s not all, based on reports, it will also come with an under-screen fingerprint sensor.

The phone is the Nokia 9 and the reports come from NPU which mentions the notch and the under-screen fingerprint sensor. We have already seen the fingerprint sensor working in two Vivo phones and they work pretty well, even showing how the fingerprint sensor can take a large portion of the screen and still produce fast and accurate unlocking. The Nokia 9 was supposed to be the Nokia 8 Sirocco but in a last minute decision, they decided to hold on the Nokia 9 brand for a future flagship.  The phone will come with an 18:9 screen based on the notch design and a curve edge-to-edge display similar to the Nokia 8 Sirocco.

Othe than that, this could be the phone that comes with the patented Penta-lens camera that we have seen previously and a Snapdragon 845 processor with AI. There is no official information on the phone so the reports and rumours should be taken with a grain of salt.
