Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 to feature Bixby

The talks of a refurbished Galaxy Note 7 has been going on for quite some time now. The ill fated phablet of 2016 turned out to be a disaster, after a series of fire incidents caused by the Note 7’s battery, which led to its discontinuation shortly after it was released. The phone has been slated to make a comeback since and rumor has it that it will begin launching in South Korea on the 7th of July.

The refurbished version of the Galaxy Note 7 will be known as the Galaxy Note FE, and Samsung will begin selling it on home soil before targeting other regions. The demand for the Galaxy Note FE is expected to be pretty high, considering that it is the top of the pack among last year’s smartphones and that it will be more affordable compared to the original Galaxy Note 7.

A safe battery will be the emphasis of the Galaxy Note FE, but now the phone is rumored to have Bixby in it. This means that Samsung will have its new virtual assistant pre-installed onto the phone. The installation of the Bixby assistant on the Note FE will probably make it more current when compared to the likes of the Galaxy S8. It will of course, not have a dedicated Bixby hardware button, but will likely be of use as Samsung continues to develop its promising voice assistant.

What do you think of the revival of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7? Will you be considering it as a phone to be purchased?
