Redmi 10 launched with MediaTek Helio G88 and 90Hz display

The Xiaomi Redmi 10 has just been launched quietly in the country and it offers all sorts of impressive features while priced from just RM649 

The phone packs a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display along with support for up to 90Hz refresh rate. There’s AdaptiveSync to allow higher refresh rates on apps that support and benefit from it.  

In terms of design, it looks a lot like its cousins in the Redmi Note 10 series – you get a pronounced rectangular camera module with silver inlays, a square-ish frame with slightly curved edges. 

Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, making the Redmi 10 one of the first phones in the world to use this powerful entry-level SoC. The processor is built on a 12nm process and boasts 2x ARM Cortex A75 cores, and 6x ARM Cortex A55 cores. For graphics, it comes with a Mali G52 chip.  

For imaging, you get a 50MP main lens, which is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide shooter, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, you get a simple 8MP camera. 

Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery along with support for up to 18W of fast charging and up t0 9W of reverse charging. In the box is a 22W adapter. 

The phone comes in three colours – Carbon Gray, Pebble White, and Sea Blue. The phone is priced at RM649 for the 4GB+64GB model, and RM749 for the 6GB+128GB variant. You can visit Xiaomi Lazada and Shopee stores here starting this August 20
