Red HTC 10 finally announced in Japan

Remember the beautiful red variant of the HTC 10 that was rumored nearly two months ago? The device has finally made its appearance and will be exclusive to the folks in Japan. Introducing, the HTC 10 in Camellia Red.

The Camellia Red HTC 10 will be sold by Japanese mobile carrier KDDI au later this month, with a pretty premium price tag, which isn’t unusual at all for a handset that is sold in Japan. It is said that the HTC 10 will be carrying a price tag of a whopping 90,000 yen (RM3,416.06). Well that’s how phone prices roll in Japan, having a history of retailers hiking up prices of the Nexus 5X, making it higher than the Nexus 6P through Japan’s Google Play Store. When it comes to specs, we’re looking at the same internals like the original HTC 10, apart from the Japan-exclusive 1-Seg wireless broadcasting.

The red HTC 10 appears to replace the silver model, which doesn’t seem to be offered alongside the other two colors – Black and Gold. We’re guessing the the Camellia Red HTC 10 will make its way to neighboring Asian markets such as China and Taiwan but till then, we’ll just have to wait for this beauty to be available out of the land of the rising sun.
