realme V15 to launch on January 7 with a MediaTek 800U chip

We previously confirmed that realme will have a new series with a phone that is codenamed the realme Koi. Turns out, this phone will be the realme V15 and will launch on January 7.

realme Koi is actually the realme V15

The realme V15 features the Koi-inspired design, but unlike the previous report that suggests it has a Snapdragon 888 chip, this phone will instead be powered by a MediaTek 800U chip. The back comes with a gradient finish that consists of blue, purple, yellow, orange and pink with realme’s “Dare to Leap” slogan embedded on the right. We can also confirmed that the phone will be using a triple rear camera setup featuring a 64MP lens as it has been revealed by some retailers.

realme V15 may sport an advanced fast charging technology

Unfortunately, that’s all the reliable information we have regarding the phone. There’s a chance that this device will come with 125W UltraDart fast charge, but it’s more likely that it’ll only support 50W charging. If our previous information is true, then the V15 will also have a 4,000mAh battery, in addition to an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The realme V15 will probably be rebranded when it launches in Malaysia, but we’re expecting to only see a single colour variant this time.
