Realme teases the launch of Realme 9 with a 108MP camera

After launching the Realme 9 Pro series, Realme is set to launch the Realme 9 on the 7th of April, which the mid-range phone is expected to come with a 108MP ProLight camera to rival Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11 Pro smartphone.

The 108MP primary camera isn’t just any gimmicky sensor, as Realme has revealed that it is one of the world’s first phone to utilize Samsung’s ISOCELL HM6 sensor, which comes with the NonaPixel plus and 9-Sum Pixel Binning technology which has debuted on the Galaxy S22 Ultra, this camera sensor aims to offer 123% more light intake than the previous generation Samsung HM2 sensor to offer brighter pictures with less noise.

Apart from that, the Realme 9 is expected to come with a 90Hz Super AMOLED display with an impressive 360Hz touch sampling rate and 1000 Nits of peak brightness, it features an in-display fingerprint that’s similar to the Realme 9 Pro+ that can monitor heart rate. With a sleek body of 7.99mm and weighing 178g, the Realme 9 will come in a ripple holographic design and has color options of Sunburst Gold, Stargaze White and Meteor Black.
