realme GT 7 Pro launches in Malaysia for RM3699

realme has launched the nation’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite powered flagship phone – the realme GT 7 Pro.

Sporting the first ever 6.78-inch Realworld Eco2 OLED display that’s co-engineered with Samsung, the realme GT 7 Pro’s screen covers 120% of DCI-P3 color space and pushes a peak brightness of 6500 nits, while delivering sharp visuals with a 2.7K resolution at 120Hz, this screen technology also promises 25% better power efficiency than other OLED displays with improved light transmittance.

Power efficiency wise, the realme GT 7 Pro is juiced by a 6500mAH Titan Battery while supporting 120W SuperVOOC fast charging, which is the largest battery capacity ever fitted on a flagship phone at this time of writing, which can deliver up to three days of moderate use and promising up to 16 hours of usage with just 1% battery.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite processor on the realme GT 7 Pro is built on the 2nd Generation 3nm process by TSMC, which improves over 40% of power efficiency over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while performance has been further improved by realme with a large 11,480mm² dual vapour chamber, allowing it to break Antutu Benchmark scores of over 3 million points, while ensuring great stability while gaming for extended durations.

In terms of cameras, the realme GT 7 Pro features a 50MP wide camera with OIS, a 50MP 3x telephoto camera with OIS and 8MP ultrawide camera on the back, it takes photography up a notch with advanced AI features AI Snap Mode and AI Demotion Engine that allows for capturing fast moving subjects without blur, while its telephoto range boast up to 120x digital zoom and retains detail with an AI engine.

All thanks to its IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, the phone is able to stay underwater up to 2 meters for 30 minutes, while the underwater mode intelligently locks the touch screen but uses the Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner as the shutter button, this allows it to be touched with the user’s fingers under water, which is really ingenious.

The realme GT 7 Pro ships with realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, with the brand promising up to 3 years of OS upgrades of 4 years of security patches, the phone will be available for preorder starting 19 November 2024 onwards for RM3699 for the 12GB RAM+512GB Storage model, early bird customers will receive RM698 worth of free gifts, including a 1-year extended warranty and realme Buds Air 5.
