realme Band 2 debuts in Malaysia with SpO2 tracker and 90 sports mode

The realme Band 2 is here in Malaysia and this time it comes with a different design, a bigger display and several other upgrades.

The previous realme Band has a 0.96-inch display; with the new realme Band 2, users are getting a larger 1.4-inch HD screen that comes in a rounded rectangle casing that looks more appealing. This screen pushes 167 x 320 resolution and offers up to 500 nits brightness, in addition to supporting over 50 personalised watch faces and several different wrist straps.

While similar to the previous realme Band that supports real-time heart monitoring and sleep tracking, the realme Band 2 also comes with a blood oxygen monitor now. You can also track your stress levels, menstrual cycle, steps taken daily and you water and calorie intake.

realme adds in more workout modes for fitness enthusiasts

Fitness-wise, the realme Band 2 improves greatly over its predecessor. It supports 90 sports mode including workouts like yoga, spinning, cricket, swimming, elliptical and more. The company also mentioned that the realme Band 2 is water-resistant up to 50 meters, meaning it can withstand minor water splashes, showers and even swimming activities,

On the smartwatch side, the realme Band 2 offers music control, camera control, alarms and more. If you download the realme Link app, you can also use this fitness tracker to control other AIoT devices like your earphones, speakers and light bulbs.

This fitness band will also have a slightly improved battery life; the previous band has a 90mAh battery that offers up to 10 days of battery life, but the new model last longer (up to 12 days) with a 204mAh battery.
