The realme 7 and realme 7 Pro were launched just a few hours back with different values to each device. This means that even though the realme 7 Pro is supposedly the more powerful device, the realme 7 has several advantages over the pro model.
Realme 7 has a faster refresh rate, but realme 7 Pro has an AMOLED panel
Both devices are available in white and blue, though the cheaper phone comes in Mist White and Mist Blue while the other comes in Mirror White and Mirror Blue. The realme 7 has a bigger 6.5-inch display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate, but it’s using an LCD panel. On the other hand, the realme 7 Pro has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display but can only go up to 60Hz.
One uses a MediaTek chip, the other uses a Qualcomm chip
Same 64MP quad-camera
As for its cameras, the realme 7 and 7 Pro sport the same rear camera setup — 64MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens and another 2MP monochrome portrait lens. On the front, the realme 7 has a 16MP lens while the higher model comes with a 32MP camera. Realme also added an in-display fingerprint sensor for the pro model while maintaining a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the other.
5,000mAh battery with 30W charging, or 4,500mAh battery with 65W charging
If you pick the realme 7, you’re getting a bigger battery and faster refresh rate; if you get the realme 7 pro, you’ll get faster charging and a better display panel. It’s really up to you.
The realme 7 starts from INR14,999 (RM846) while the realme 7 Pro will cost you at least INR19,999 (RM1128.20).
