Realme is set to launch the successor to its popular Realme 2 Pro budget Android smartphone at an event in India on April 22. Ahead of the smartphone’s official debut, it has been granted certification by the Bluetooth SIG. In addition to the Bluetooth certification, it has also been caught on the Geekbench database.
The Bluetooth SIG certification has revealed quite a few key specifications of the upcoming Realme 3 Pro. According to the listing, Realme 3 Pro will have a 6.3-inch Full HD+ resolution display. Under the hood, it will run on Qualcomm’s mid-range 10nm Snapdragon 710 chipset.
The listing also confirms the Realme 3 Pro will have a 3960mAh capacity battery, a decent improvement over the 3500mAh capacity cell inside its predecessor. Thanks to the bigger battery, the Realme 3 Pro should be capable of delivering more impressive battery life.
Some of the other key features confirmed by the Bluetooth SIG listing include Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, ColorOS 6.0 software, and a fingerprint sensor. The Geekbench listing confirms the smartphone will indeed be powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset, clubbed with 6GB RAM. Similar to its predecessor, however, we expect the Realme 3 Pro to be available with up to 8GB RAM. A more affordable variant with 4GB RAM is expected as well.
