Razer updates its 14-inch Blade laptop with a Kaby Lake processor and a 4K screen option

Now would be a good time to think about getting a brand new Razer Blade laptop as Razer has just updated its 14″ Razer Blade laptop with new Kaby Lake processors, the new Nvidia GTX 1060 graphics cards, and the option to get a 4K screen with it.

Starting from today, the 14″ Razer Blade will now come with a Core i7-7700HQ processor that has a clockspeed of 2.8GHz. For the graphics, Razer has updated the laptop with Nvidia’s Pascal-based GTX 1060 graphics card to replace the aging GTX 970M GPU. While the basic Razer Blade comes with a full HD screen, users can opt to upgrade the screen of the Razer Blade to a 4K UHD touchscreen.

Processors, GPUs and screen aside, the new 14″ Razer Blade now comes with 16GB of RAM as well as up to 1TB of SSD storage. While Razer has boosted the performance of the Razer Blade with these upgrades, the laptop manages to maintain its lightweight and durable design.

The new 14″ Razer Blade will have a starting price of USD1,899 (RM8,964), so if you want it, you’re going to have to pay good money for it.
