Razer has unveil their gaming-focused smartphone called the Razer Phone

After years of taking out gaming peripherals, Razer has decided to tap into the mobile gaming market by releasing their own Android smartphone. The Razer Phone will come with an amazing display that supports refresh rates of 120hz, giving you a smooth gaming experience which they are calling UltraMotion display.

The Razer Phone will come with the Snapdragon 835 processor, 8GB of RAM, 5.72-inch IGZO LCD QHD UltraMotion screen with a wide colour gamut and 64GB of internal storage expandable via microSD up to 2TB. Because it is a gaming phone, Razer has equipped the phone with a 4,000mAh battery and it will support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+. As for audio, the company went all out and included stereo front facing speakers, dual amplifiers, an audio adapter with THX certified DAC, and Dolby Atmos. The phone will come with Android 7.1.1 out-of-the-box which will be upgradable to Android Oreo in the first quarter of 2018. In the photography department, there is a dual 12MP camera on the back with dual-tone LED flash and on the front is an 8MP fixed-focus camera.

The phone will be available later this month in UK, EU and the US with a price tag of $699 (RM2954.32). Razer has also announced a special edition of the phone that will come with a Neon Green company logo on the back aside from the standard model which will have a black logo.
