Razer Phone makes Asian debut in Singapore

It was only a couple of days ago when Razer CEO Min Liang Tan hinted on Twitter about a possible Razer Phone launch in Singapore. The highly anticipated smartphone by the gaming company has since made its debut in Asia via the country. The phone is currently available for pre-orders through a local carrier.

Popular local carrier Singtel has opened exclusive pre-orders for the Razer Phone, along with its range of plans. The price tag of the Razer Phone without contract is at SGD 1,068 (RM 3,260.19), which actually doesn’t sound too bad at all for a brand new flagship smartphone by a well known gaming company.

Razer CEO Tan has mentioned that the company traditionally focuses on the market in the US and Europe. Razer wanted a good partner to launch the Razer Phone with. The handset sports an impressive 120 Hz QHD+ display at 5.7-inches, dual front firing Dolby ATMOS speakers, including an impressive internal spec sheet consisting of a Snapdragon 835 processor and a whopping 8GB of RAM.

The Razer Phone will soon be available outside of Singtel’s plans, via the Razer Singapore website beginning December 1. Whether or not the phone will make its way up north to Malaysia remains a mystery.
