PUBG Lite beta testing is coming to Malaysia

We all know that what a popular game PUBG is, but we also know that the PC version was, and still is a poorly optimized mess. PUBG Corporation recently announced a ‘Lite’ version of the game that should run on lower-end machines; and people were ecstatic.

The catch, however, was that the beta was tested only in Thailand. But fret not, now PUBG Corp has announced that beta testing would be available in Malaysia too.

PUBG Lite is supposedly able to run on a measly Core i3, 4GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4000 set up; but we suspect most gamers would have machines that far exceed these requirements anyway.

No word on when beta tests will begin but it’s still cause for optimism if you’re a fan of the game. Because PUBG Lite is free-to-play, here’s to hoping it isn’t just a lazy port of Tencent’s mobile version of the game, otherwise we foresee mass (figurative) riots.

Visit the game’s Facebook page for updates on release dates and more.
