Poor render of the OnePlus 5 looks very much like the OnePlus 3/3T

The OnePlus 5 is expected to be unveiled some time in June later this year. There hasn’t been much talk about the device thus far, but online news outlet India Today has boldy stepped up with an alleged render of the upcoming OnePlus flagship. Unfortunately, it is rather difficult to deem it as credible as this OnePlus 5 looks eeriely similar to the OnePlus 3/3T.

Based on the image, the overall design looks just about the same as the Midnight Black edition of the OnePlus 3T. with the exception of the camera. This OnePlus 5 render shows a dual camera instead of a single shooter, but it looks like a poorly photoshopped duplicate of the original camera lens seen on the OnePlus 3/3T. Other than the camera, it’s hard to differentiate the alleged OnePlus 5 from the OnePlus 3.

It is likely that this won’t be what the OnePlus 5 looks like, but we are not asking you to discredit this render entirely. Regardless, the OnePlus 5 is indeed rumored to sport a dual camera setup. It will likely feature a Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM, and retain its 5.5-inch screen size with a possibility of a 2K resolution display. Hopefully the phone will be available in Midnight Black as well. What do you think?
