POCO X3 GT launched in Malaysia: Priced from RM1,299

The POCO X3 GT is now official, and as a re-badge of the China’s Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G, it packs the same powerful hardware that makes it one of 2021’s most interesting value flagships. You can check out our unboxing and first impressions video below.

The phone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chip with 5G support – it’s essentially a step up from the Snapdragon 860 that we saw in the POCO X3 Pro. The phone comes with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

The X3 GT packs a 6.6-inch FHD 120Hz panel that also has a 240Hz touch sampling rate, along with DCI-P3 support. The display is made with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, which is the strongest glass panel you can put on a smartphone right now.

For imaging, you get a 64MP main lens which is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, you get a 16MP front camera.

Powering the smartphone is a massive 5,000mAh battery, and support for up to 67W of Turbo Charging support.

The POCO X3 GT comes in Stargaze Black, Cloud White, and Wave Blue. The phone is priced at RM1,299 for the 8GB+128GB model, and RM1,599 for the 8GB+256GB version. From August 3 to August 4, you can get early-bird discounts on both models. To sweeten the deal, buy the 8GB+256GB model on August 3 and you’ll even get free gifts that are worth RM169.
