POCO launched two new flagships from different lineups today — the POCO F3 and the POCO X3 Pro. Both phones are equipped with new Qualcomm chips — the Snapdragon 870 5G and Snapdragon 860.
120Hz displays for both
The POCO F3 and X3 Pro have a large 6.67-inch screen supporting a 120Hz refresh rate — however, the former uses an AMOLED panel and supports up to 360Hz touch sampling rate while the latter uses LCD panel and supports up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. Both also come with dual speakers, but only the F3 supports Dolby Atmos.
POCO F3 has three lenses, but the X3 Pro has one more
Imaging-wise, the POCO X3 Pro has a 48MP quad-camera — apart from its main lens, it comes with an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro lens, and another 2MP depth sensor. Interestingly, the F3 only comes with a triple rear camera setup — POCO swapped the macro and depth lenses for a 5MP telemacro lens. On the front, both phones have a 20MP in-display camera.
The X3 Pro also has a bigger battery
The F3 also has a smaller 4,520mAh battery as compared to the X3 Pro’s 5,160mAh battery, but both supports 33W fast charging via USB-C. They’re also available in two storage configurations — 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
POCO X3 Pro and POCO F3: Flagship killers
Here’s the most surprising news — the POCO X3 Pro is only priced from RM999 while the POCO F3 is priced from RM1,399 despite being flagships. That being said, you can get up to RM200 off each phone when you purchase them during their flash sales. The POCO X3 Pro’s sale start on March 24 on Shopee whereas the POCO F3’s start on March 27 on Lazada.
