PlayStation Plus’s January lineup has been announced, revealing games that will be free for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
The games will only be free if you’re an active PlayStation Plus member, and you’ll have to make sure that you’re actively paying for the subscription if you want to keep the game.
One of the notable titles for the PS4 that will available to PS Plus member is Steep, a massive open world sports game that revolves around skiing, snowboarding, paragliding and using wingsuits. The game supports up to 4 players, and you can compete with others in this winter sports game. Originally, Steep is priced at $29.99 so you’ll be saving some cash if you download it next month.
Another title that will be free to PS Plus members is Portal Knights, a 3D sandbox action RPG. Featuring characters with different roles, you can pick the character you want to be and fight creatures and complete quests. You can also mine and build your own home, and you can architect your own island. The game supports multiplayer, so you can join forces with your friends and defeat enemies together. Portal Knights is priced at $19.99 for those who are not PS Plus members.
There are also other games for PS3 and PS Vita such as Zone of the Enders HD Collection, Amplitude, Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion and Super Mutant Alien Assault. The games will be free for download starting 1 January and will last around a month before the games reverts to their original prices.
