There have been rumours going around about the release of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL Lite for several months now, but with the recent video of a pre-production version of the Pixel 3 Lite from a tech blog called Andro News, there’s finally more information on the phone.
Although the pre-production video has been removed, it was re-uploaded by another channel and according to reports, the Pixel 3 Lite comes with a 5.56-inch 1080×2160 display and its body is made of plastic. It looks pretty similar to the Pixel 3 as it also comes with a single rear camera, a fingerprint scanner and the Google logo on its back.
What’s different is that the Pixel 3 Lite will not be getting stereo speakers, but it will be getting a headphone jack.
The Pixel 3 Lite will also be powered by Snapdragon 670 processor and get 4GB RAM with 32GB storage. It will also be shipped with Android 9 Pie and a 2915mAh battery that’s said to provide battery life comparable to the Pixel 3.
In terms of camera, the Pixel 3 Lite will be equipped with a 12.2MP camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. On the front, the its selfie camera will be of 8MP, though it lacks the wide-angle lens that the Pixel 3 has.
