Philips announced the all new 275C5QHG5SW AmbiGlow Plus monitor, featuring an ambient-lighting base that sources input from your display output. It offers an LED back-lit Full HD (1920 x 1080) AH-IP display panel, complete with a 178° wide viewing angle and a 250 cd/m² maximum brightness, with dynamic mega-contrast.
Ambiglow features a new dimension to your viewing experience. The innovative Ambiglow technology enlarges your experience by creating a halo of light on and around the base. Its fast processor analyses the incoming image and adapts the colour and brightness of the light to match the image. Ambiglow Plus lighted base can cycle through different hues, or allow the user to manually select the hue or timing of the light for ambient coloured mood lighting experience. Colour, vibrancy and excitement move beyond the screen, bringing a more thrilling, intense and immersive viewing experience.
The display inputs include D-Sub and HDMI with MHL support. It is expected to hit stores at a suggested retail price of about $350 (RM1500).
