Perodua has unveiled the All-New Myvi with advance safety features (Updated)

Perodua has announced the All-New Myvi which comes with a whole load’s more features than any of the previous generation Myvi with a suite of advanced safety features which does not compromise its trademark value for money and quality.

The All-New Myvi will come equipped with either 1.3 or 1.5 litre Energy Efficient Vehicle Engine and comes with Dual VVT-i. The Engines are coupled with either a five-speed manual transmission in the 1.3L variant or a four-speed E-AT automatic transmission for all variants. One of the new features coming to the car is the Eco Idle, where the engine will shut off when the car is stopped and restarts it when the brake pedal is released. This and the aerodynamic improvements contribute towards fuel economy figures of 20.1 km/l for the 1.5 AT.

All the variants will also get LED headlamps with Follow Me Home function and headlamp levelling Smar Entry with Push Start. The 60:40 folding rear seat and reverse sensors will add to the driving experience, making it more convenient and fuss-free. The All-New Myvi is also longer, lower and wider than the previous generation and it is wearing alloy rims with a measurement of 14-inches for the 1.3 variants and 15-inches for the 1.5 variants.

Adding to the comfort, the car comes with a 973mm tandem distance which provides lots of legroom and an 8+1 flexible sitting arrangement making the car adaptable to your family’s lifestyle. When it comes to security, they have added a range of features like Pre-Collision Warning, Pre-Collision Braking, Front Departure Alert and Pedal Misoperation Control. These features are made possible thanks to a forward-facing recognition camera located behind the rear-view mirror. Other than that, it also has traditional features like ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Vehicle Stability Control and six airbags for the 1.5 variant and four airbags for the 1.3 variant.

The All-New Myvi will be available in six colours, Ivory White Glittering Silver, Mystical Purple, and Lava Red.
