PAVOCOMMS, the mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that runs the service speakOUT has unveiled its new service Mcalls today and introduced the Y33 Plan, this is a prepaid service that offers 5GB of 4G LTE data, free 33 minutes of nationwide calls and 33 local SMS for RM30 per month. The service will have a 1-year validity upon activation, once the monthly package expires, customers will need to pay for calls and SMS on a pay as you use basis. Like speakOUT, Mcalls leverages on Digi’s 4G network to provide its data services, but apart from just being a MVNO, PAVOCOMMS has intended Mcalls to be a rewards and digital wallet platform for the consumer, which makes the service different from the rest of the players.
Mcalls’ value added features can be experienced within the MMSpot app, available as a free download for iOS and Android devices, subscribers can use the app not only just to manage their account, but also to pay utility bills, purchase products from over 1,200 business alliance partners and gain reward points as they make purchases over the platform, which eventually you can use the points to redeem air time and reward categories of recreation, entertainment, dining, travel, fashion and transportation. but also to be able to utilize the reward points earned to redeem products and services from over 1,200 business alliance partners. A recent consumer behavour survey by Nielsen reveals that 44% Malaysians are more likely to use mobile-only solutions if the service provider offers relevant lifetime rewards, which is why PAVOCOMMS has intended Mcalls to be the most rewarding mobile platform.
PAVOCOMMS has also kickstarted the launch of Mcalls with its first digital lifestyle store, which is located at Sunway Pyramid (LG.2, Orange Atrium, next to Harvey Norman), the store will allow customers to experience an immersive retail experience with Augmented Reality (AR) while being able to perform account related services.
