Oukitel enters Malaysia with five value for money smartphones

The smartphone brand that is well known for the world’s first smartphone with a 10,000mAh battery is now entered the Malaysian market. Oukitel, a Shenzhen based technology company has finally made its presence official here. For those who finds the brand new,the company has been manufacturing handsets for OEM clients such as Spice, Karbonn, BQ, Qmobile and etc, hence it isn’t some startup company kicking off the ground. Oukitel has brought in three different series of smartphones, which comprises of the C Series, K Series, and U Series, both of which sport its unique selling proposition.

To begin with, we have the Oukitel K6000 Plus from the K series family that offers long lasting battery life, as its model already suggests, the phone comes with a huge 6080mAh battery that is sourced from SCUD, which supplies batteries to other companies such as Huawei and Xiaomi. Priced at RM999, the phone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD LTPS panel and is powered by a Mediatek MT6750T processor mated to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, the phone also supports memory expansion if you require more storage.

Furthermore, the K6000 Plus also has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX298 main camera that supports phase detection auto focus (PDAF), a front 8-megapixel camera is present with a 80-degree wide angle lens. If you are worried about the charging speed of its huge battery, the K6000 Plus supports a super fast 12V/2A charging mode with its provided charger, which you can achieve more than 2 hours of talk time with just a 5-minute charging time, the company has also ensured that the phone’s battery has been tested for safety. Last but not the least, the phone comes preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat, and you’ll be glad that there isn’t any custom skin installed. The K6000 Plus is available in colours of Gray and Gold and you can look forward to its arrival in April.

Moving on to the Oukitel U16 Max, which aims to offer a premium design and performance. The phone is built with an aircraft aluminium alloy body design with 2.5D curved glass panel, It features a 6-inch HD JDI display with LTPS technology and performance is managed by a MediaTek MT6753 1.3GHz Octa-core processor, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. On a side note, the U16 Max still comes with a rather huge 4000mAh battery which should easily deliver a full day of battery life, and it offers a pretty decent 13-megapixel main and 5-megapixel front camera configuration. Oukitel offers the U16 Max in two color options of Gray and Gold, it will be available in Malaysia at April and retails RM889.

On the other hand, the U20 Plus features an ergonomic design with curved edges and rounded-off corners, it uses a solid polycarbonate material instead of metal, while performance is managed by a MediaTek MT6737T 1.5GHz quad-core processor, there’s 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, while its main camera features dual camera lenses of a main 13-megapixel camera and a 0.3-megapixel lens for capturing image data such as distance, depth and light, a 5-megapixel front camera is also present and can generate 8-megapixel interpolated phots for higher resolution images. The U20 Plus comes preloaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it is available now at RM639 with color options of Jet Black, Gray and Gold.

Last but not the least, Oukitel has also introduced two entry level C series models, namely the C3 and C5 Pro. Both devices feature 5-inch HD displays and are powered by a quad-core processor, the C3 has a 1GB RAM and 8GB storage, while the C5 Pro has double of both. However in terms of design, the C3 has a rather beautiful diamond shape back cover while the C5 Pro is Shockproof and has 4G LTE support. Both the C3 and C5 Pro are now available at a retail price of RM299 and RM399 respectively.
