OPPO unveils mid range R11 with dual camera setup

The OPPO R11 has been rumored for a good few months now, with a sudden surge in various leaks over the last couple of weeks. The good news is that OPPO has finally unveiled the R11 in China, and everything seems to turn out as expected.

OPPO’s latest smartphone seems like a really promising package for a mid ranger. The OPPO R11 sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display in Full HD 1080p resolution. Internally, the phone packs a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The OPPO R11’s dual camera setup looks pretty darn impressive on paper, with a 20MP and a 16MP sensor. With this configuration, the phone’s camera is capable of providing 2X optical zoom, plus an enhanced portrait mode with blurred out backgrounds. Living up to its “camera phone” branding, the OPPO R11 features a 20MP front facing camera for crisp selfie images. The phone packs a 2,900mAh battery and it operates Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box.

OPPO will begin selling its latest mid range dual camera smartphone on June 10, which is this weekend. There is also a rumored Plus variant for the R11, tipped to feature 6GB of RAM and a significantly larger battery.
