OPPO unveils Find X2 and Find X2 Pro globally with 120Hz display, Snapdragon 865 and two 48MP lenses

OPPO’s flagship series Find X2 is now available globally – there are two variants, the OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro.

Starting with the Pro variant, it packs a whopping a massive 6.7-inch OLED display that pushes a resolution of 1440x3168p and 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a 240Hz touch sample rate and the new O1 Ultra Vision Engine which reduces motion blur when watching videos and playing games.

For imaging, it has two 48MP lenses (Sony IMX689 and Sony IMX586) and a 13MP telephoto lens. For selfies, you get a 32MP front shooter as well. The Sony IMX689 lens features all-pixel omnidirectional focusing tech which is supposedly faster than current PDAF focusing methods, and improve on low-light performance.

Under the hood, you get a Snapdragon 865 chipset with up to 12GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.0 internal storage. It supports 5G connectivity and has a 4,260mAh battery that supports up to 65W fast charging, which OPPO claims can fully charge the phone in 38 minutes.

Moving on to the regular OPPO Find X2, the display remains the same but this time has a glass back instead.

The camera setup takes away one 48MP lens (Sony IMX689) and replaces it with a 12MP ultrawide shooter; but retains the other 48MP lens (Sony IMX586) and the 13MP telephoto shooter. It also keeps the 32MP selfie shooter.

Under the hood, the same Snapdragon 865 and UFS 3.0 storage remains, but you get up to 256GB RAM, and a smaller 4,200mAh battery.

It runs on Android 10 with ColorOS 7. The Find X2 Pro comes in Black (Ceramic) and Orange (vegan leather); while the Find X2 is available in Black (Ceramic) and Ocean (Gloss).

The Find X2 retails at 999 Euros (RM4,710) while the Find X2 Pro will set you back 1,199 Euros (RM5,653) – this is of course not the official local price; we will keep you updated on that. Local pre-orders start now – for the X2, it ends this 13 March, while the X2 Pro ends this 20 March. Pre-order goodies include a powerbank, a one year extended warranty and screen protection warranty.

The first sales in the country starts this 14 March and will at powerbank warranty screen and OPPO Enco Free Buds.
