Smartphone brands now don’t solely focus on selling smartphones anymore; many are seen to offer more products to pair with their smartphones such as wireless earbuds and smartwatches. This applies to OPPO, the Chinese manufacturer that recently teased its upcoming smartwatch.

Though the company did not reveal a lot about its smartwatch, the teaser revealed a rectangular watch face that will come with AI and deep learning. However, a leakster called Digital Chat Station just revealed another interesting piece of information yesterday — the smartwatch will come with an ECG sensor.

Though OPPO isn’t the first to include an ECG sensor into its smartwatch, it is one of the few brands that are doing it. Apple has already done this with its Apple Watch Series 4 and so is Samsung with its Galaxy Watch Active 2.

The OPPO smartwatch is expected to launch in Q1 2020, so we’ll be seeing it within these few months.
