OPPO Reno7 Pro to come with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor

Leakster Digital Chat Station recently tipped that the OPPO Reno7 Pro will be featuring a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor — this has also been used on the Reno6 Pro+ and Find X3 Pro.

The Sony IMX766 is a 1/1.56” sensor with 1.0 µm native pixels that can grow to 2.0 µm via pixel binning. It also supports DOL-HDR and All-Pixel autofocus.

Reno7 Pro will lean towards flagship camera?

Digital Chat Station’s Weibo post also mentioned that the Reno7 Pro will be much better than the Reno6 Pro that is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 and uses a 64MP 1/2.0” sensor with 0.7µm pixels.

OPPO collaborates with Kodak

Apart from that, the Reno7 Pro is also speculated to be co-developed with Kodak. It was first rumoured to be a special edition of the Find X3 Pro, but now it’s pointing towards to the Reno7 Pro instead.

The Reno7 Pro is also expected to come with a 13MP telephoto lens and a 3MP micro lens like the Find X3 Pro.
