About four hours ago, OPPO has posted a teaser video on its Weibo page regarding its upcoming smartphone, Reno. The OPPO Reno is also confirmed by the company’s VP Shen Yiren to come in two variants.

The OPPO Reno flagship variant will come with the 10x optical zoom while the lite version will be made to suit the needs of other users, meaning that it probably won’t get the 10x lossless zoom. The teaser video also show how the phone is made in OPPO’s ‘Unbelievable Factory’.

The OPPO Reno is already confirmed to equip a Snapdragon 855 processor with ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie. The lite version will however sport a lower-end Snapdragon 710 processor.

The flagship model is also suggested to come with a huge 6.65-inch FHD+ display while the lite version will sport a slightly smaller 6.4-inch FHD+ display. It’s still a mystery whether the phones will be sporting a notch, though reports are split between a water drop notch or a slider/pop-up camera.

In terms of camera, the OPPO Reno is expected to have three cameras: a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary sensor and 13MP tertiary sensor. The lite version will still sport a 48MP camera, though it’ll only be paired with a 5MP secondary sensor. On the front, both versions will be housing a 16MP selfie camera.

There will also be a conference on the OPPO Reno on April 10, so we’re expecting more information by then.
