The tech world was led to believe that OPPO would be introducing a new sub-brand called Reno – evidence such as logos and artwork suggest that – like Realme – Reno would be its own entity and produce its own line of products.
Today however, it may appear that this isn’t quite the case. A video posted by OPPO on their Weibo page suggest that Reno is actually just be a product line under the OPPO brand.
The five-second video shows the silhouette of a smartphone along with the its branding ‘OPPO Reno’, as well as the dates 10 April 2019. As reports suggest, Reno is the name for OPPO’s upcoming series of phones; and its debut device could sport a 10x zoom camera that was teased by the Chinese company in MWC 2019 in Barcelona.
It will also reportedly come with a triple-camera setup along with a 48MP lens. Other sources also claim that the phone could be powered by a Snapdragon 710 chipset too, so don’t expect a processing beast.
