We’re three months away from ending the year – for the most part of 2019, phone manufacturers have circled around a select few smartphone trends to market their devices with – number of camera lenses, zoom, camera modules, screen refresh rates and charging speed.

It looks like we’re not deviating from the path yet as OPPO looks set to introduce the Reno Ace that supports SuperVOOC Flash Charge that’s caped at a whopping 65W. The top spot on the list of quickest charging techs is held by OPPO as well with the OPPO Find X’s 50W charging capability.

The Reno Ace is said to sport a 4,000mAh battery and a 90Hz display – two reasons why fast charging would be crucial. But if you’ve been keeping track of the latest smartphone trends like us, you’d probably feel as indifferent as us about this news – mostly because of how often we hear (and write) about new fast charging tech.

If anything, this is simply a small step into pushing boundaries and encouraging other manufacturers to follow suit.
