OPPO launches Reno 10 series in Malaysia, priced from RM1,799

OPPO’s latest Reno10 series has now officially made its debut in Malaysia, which includes the Reno10, Reno10 Pro, and Reno10 Pro Plus models. Initially released in May, this mid-range series delivers remarkable specifications, with the premium model equipped with a telephoto lens.

Starting with the flagship model, the Reno10 Pro Plus. It features a 6.74-inch 2772×1240 resolution AMOLED display, capable of a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,400 nits. Under the hood, it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage. Unique to the series, it also includes the custom MariSilicon X NPU.

In terms of camera specifications, it offers a triple-lens rear camera system, comprised of a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 64MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and 120x digital zoom capabilities, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.

Powering this device is a 4,700mAh battery, supported by 100W SuperVOOC flash charging.

Moving on to the Reno10 Pro, it comes with a 6.7-inch 2772×1240 resolution OLED display that also offers a 120Hz refresh rate. This variant in Malaysia is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage.

The Reno10 Pro also features a trio of rear cameras, including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. However, the telephoto lens has been reduced to 32MP and lacks OIS. It draws energy from a slightly smaller 4,600mAh battery that supports 80W charging.

Lastly, the basic Reno10 model comes equipped with a 6.7-inch 1080p resolution AMOLED display, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset and, although it retains the same 256GB of storage as its counterparts, it’s fitted with 8GB of RAM.

Its rear camera system comprises a 64MP primary sensor, a 32MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. All three models in the lineup are equipped with a 32MP front-facing camera with autofocus. The Reno10 has the most substantial battery capacity in the series, with 5,000mAh, but charges at a slower rate of 67W.

The Reno10 series is priced as follows: the Reno10 at RM1,799, the Reno10 Pro at RM2,199, and the Reno10 Pro Plus at RM3,499. Pre-orders can be placed on OPPO’s official website from July 6 to 14, accompanied by an assortment of complimentary gifts for customers who purchase during this time frame.
