OPPO A95 launched in Malaysia: Priced at RM1,099

The OPPO A95 is the brand’s newest midranger and it offers plenty of upgrades over its predecessor such as a larger battery, faster charging and a more powerful chipset.

What hasn’t changed however is the display – the A95 still comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ display panel; we suppose you don’t fix what isn’t broken.

Under the hood, you get a Snapdragon 662 chipset, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s also RAM Expansion tech that gives you extra 5GB of temporary memory.

For imaging, there’s a bit of a downgrade in quantity as the A95 packs a triple-lens setup, instead of four. The module consists of a 48MP main lens, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there’s a 16MP shooter.

Powering everything in the phone is a 5,000mAh battery, and there’s support for 33W of Flash Charge fast charging. OPPO claims that you get up to 56 hours and 18 hours of talk time and YouTube streaming respectively when the phone is fully charged.

The OPPO A95 runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11, and it comes with features such as Game Space, Hyper Boost, All-scenario SOS, and FlexDrop.

There are two colour options to choose from – Glowing Rainbow Silver, and Glowing Starry Black; the phone is priced at RM1,099 and is available to pre-order from now until 19 November.

You purchase gets you a PWP deal that lets you buy an OPPO Enco Buds (worth RM159) for only RM1. OPPO Members also get RM50 vouchers from now until 30 November, while Brand Store Exclusive privileges also gets you a PWP to buy the OPPO Band for only RM95 instead of RM159.
