The OPPO A93 is the company’s next smartphone and will be launched this October 6 via an online live stream.
The phone has six camera lenses – which just means it has four at the back and two on the front. OPPO confirms that the phone will pack 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, but we don’t know much else about its hardware.
According to rumours, the A93 is actually a re-badge of the OPPO F17 Pro that was launched in India earlier this month. So based on that, we can assume that the A93 will come with a MediaTek Helio P95 chipset along with a 4,015mAh battery with support for 30W of fast charging.
The phone has a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display and a double punch hole notch on the top left of the display.
For imaging, there’s a 48MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, a two 2MP mono lenses – however, we think one of them could be swapped out for a portrait camera when the phone arrives in Malaysia. For selfies, you get a 16MP shooter alongside a 2MP depth sensor.
When it comes to the price, the F17 Pro is priced at INR 22,990 (RM1,295), perhaps the A93 could be priced around that figure as well. Regardless, all will be unveiled this October 6 on their Facebook page here.
