OPPO has launched their latest entry in their A-series phones – the OPPO A91. It sits right in between last year’s OPPO A5 2020 and OPPO A9 2020.

The phone is a decently-sized 6.4-inch device with a FHD+ panel made with Gorilla Glass 5 material.

Another key selling point for the A91 is its portability – it measures at 7.9mm in thickness and weighs only 172g. It’s also got a slight curved back panel that we’ve seen on the OPPO Find X2 series which helps with ergonomics.

For imaging, you have a 48MP main lens, pixel-binned to 12MP. On top of that, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, a 2MP portrait camera and a 2MP mono lens. For selfies, you get a 16MP front shooter housed in a familiar drop-notch module.

Under the hood, it packs a Mediatek Helio P70 chipset alongside 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. For videos, it offers EIS Anti-Shake for smooth video recording. On top of that, there’s also AI video beautification, night portrait, portrait HDR and more.

Powering the device is a capable 4,025mAh battery and the phone supports up to 20W VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 via USB-C.

In Malaysia, the phone only comes in Lightning Black, and is available for RM999 across OPPO’s official online stores including Shopee and Lazada.
