OPPO A56 5G launched in China, priced below RM1,100

The OPPO A56 5G has made its debut in its native country of China and it’s the brand’s newest affordable midranger as it’s priced from just CNY1599 (about RM1,038).

The device comes with a 6.5-inch drop-notch HD+ display, while its overall design is your standard OPPO A-series aesthetic – simple.

Under the hood, the phone packs a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, along with 6GB of RAM, and 128GB. Like many phones this year, the A56 5G offers a RAM expansion too, where 5GB of storage space is temporarily converted into memory.

In the imaging department, the phone packs a 13MP main lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, you get an 8MP lens.

Powering the phone is massive 5,000mAh battery, and there’s also support for 10W of fast charging as well.

There’s no word on when the phone will arrive in Malaysia, but you can watch this space for more updates on the device.
