OnePlus Launcher debuts on Play Store for the second time

Apart from making controversial “Flagship Killer” smartphones, Chinese company OnePlus is also known for its clean and simple Android UI skin, Oxygen OS. The company previously adopted CyangenMod OS for the OnePlus One, but has since made its own software skin after a minor scuffle with Indian smartphone maker MicroMax. Now OnePlus has debuted its own launcher on the Google Play Store, dubbed the OnePlus Launcher.

The OnePlus Launcher has previously made a brief appearance on the Play Store some time earlier this month, with a separate beta program to register for. However, OnePlus pulled the plug on the app after a short while, making this appearance its second this month.

OnePlus’s software is popular for offering a stock Android like experience with room for customization, and the same exact experience will be offered with the OnePlus Launcher. OnePlus flaunts its own WYSIWYG Settings, among the rest, which stands for “What you see is what you get”, providing options in the most intuitive way on the launcher.

Other features such as Shelf, gestures, and the ability to customize icons are available on the launcher as well. If you are interested in making a switch from your default launcher or Nova Launcher, the OnePlus Launcher is definitely a recommended option.
