OnePlus Band comes with blood oxygen sensor and 14-days battery

OnePlus is finally joining the fitness band club with its OnePlus Band that has an SpO2 sensor and up to two weeks of battery life.

OnePlus Band rivals the Mi Band

Currently available in India, the OnePlus Band comes with a 1.1 AMOLED display and weighs at 22.6g. It comes in Black, Navy and Tangerine Gray and has a band strap similar to the one we see on the Mi Band models. The band also comes with an optical heart rate sensor and 12 different exercises modes, in addition to having 5ATM and IP68 rating.

iOS devices may not be compatible

The downside to the OnePlus Band is that it can only connect to Android phones; OnePlus’s page states that the band supports English, Hindi and Chinese, and only works with devices that run on Android 6.0 and above — iOS support is not mentioned.

The OnePlus Band also offers up to 14 days of battery life with its 100mAh battery. Just like most fitness trackers, users can receive notifications and control music playback. The band can also control your camera shutter, locate your phone and sync with selected OnePlus phones’ Zen Mode.
