OnePlus 7T Pro possible October 15 launch – comes with 6.7-inch panel and Snapdragon 855+

We’re at a very interesting point in the year where the best products in the smartphone industry are rolled out to the general public – we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus, the Samsung Exynos 9825 which we will see in the Galaxy Note 10 series – these processors and the devices that use them will set the bar for what’s to come next year.

But for now, while we have some ways to go before we usher in 2020, we’ve got time to enjoy the cool, beasty smartphones that aim to do one better than their predecessors. In come the OnePlus 7T Pro.

According to Phone Arena, the 7T Pro succeeds the 7 Pro – which is still a beast of a machine, but it looks like the 7T Pro will comes with the Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset – the same one we’ll be seeing in the ROG Phone 2.

This is probably the first time you and I are hearing about the device – and thanks to a Twitter leak, we get to see the general shape of the phone, and more importantly the supposed release date – which could be October 15.

Other things to note about the OnePlus 7T Pro is that it will come with a minimum of 6GB RAM but can be upgraded to 12GB of memory – a little weird considering the Note 10 has a minimum of 8GB, but we reckon this could be a cost-saving measure on OnePlus’ part.

You can also expect to see a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED screen with the series’ signature 90Hz refresh rate feature. Another thing that is getting us excited is that the phone is said to come with Android 10 Q out of the box.

I don’t know about you, but the coming months is as exciting as it gets for the smartphone world this year – plus we can finally look forward to the proper launch of the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X as well.
