There’s has been a lot of talk around town of the upcoming OnePlus 7 – renders and leaks have been spreading like wildfire; because, well, OnePlus are supposed to be the flagship killer, right?
If you’re eager to get your hands on the phone, you’ll be glad to know that OnePlus has officially announced the launch dates of the phones. A short video posted on the company’s Twitter page confirms that a OnePlus 7-series launch event will take place on May 14 in New York, London and Bangalore. Meanwhile, the phone will be launched in China two days later.

Previously, OnePlus’ CEO Pete Lau shared teasers of the phone alongside the captopn “Fast and Smooth”, so our best guess would be that the phone will sport a Snapdragon 855 chipset (it wouldn’t be a flagship killer otherwise) and could come with at least a 60Mhz display.
Other consistent rumour is that the phone will come with a pop-up selfie camera, so we reckon the phone will have thin bezels; but elsewhere, there are reports that the OnePlus 7 could have a curved display too. This is likely as official partial-renders from OnePlus show what seems to be a device with curved edges.
In any case, we won’t have to wait long now before the phone is unveiled; so mark your calendars folks!
