OnePlus 6T rescheduled to launch earlier than Apple

Apple is launching an event on 30 October in New York City, possibly revealing the new iPad Pro and MacBooks and this is coincidentally clashing with the launch of OnePlus 6T by OnePlus.

The OnePlus 6T is the company’s newest device and deemed a game changer, and OnePlus is not willing to risk launching its event on the same day with Apple. To ensure that the flagship device gets the attention it deserves, the company decided to change the launch date to a day earlier on 29 October. This decision was made with thorough consideration after OnePlus gained insights from their press contacts that concluded that they will be overshadowed by Apple if they choose to launch on the initial date.

There were also fans who bought tickets to attend the event, in which OnePlus will issue a refund for those who are unable to attend on 29 October. The company also promises to cover the costs for those who want to attend the launch event, such as the costs for the rescheduling of flight and accommodations.

It is a pity that OnePlus has to make sudden changes because of Apple, but it is also a wise decision to ensure maximum publicity for both parties.
