OnePlus releases sneak peek of OnePlus 10 Pro

The OnePlus 10 Pro has caused a lot of speculation about its specs and launch date, and our curiosity has finally been satisfied by none other than the founder of OnePlus himself, Pete Lau.

Lau tweeted a rendered image of the phone’s rear, while the OnePlus official Twitter account posted a video teaser offering a clearer view.

The posts confirmed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will have a triple camera array that’s tuned by Hasselblad, which reportedly comprise a 48MP wide main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, an 8MP telephoto, and a 32MP selfie camera.

This is not the first time the Swedish camera manufacturer has worked with OnePlus, as their first collaboration was the OnePlus 9 last year, where they were involved in the camera’s colour tuning.

Despite appearing to have four cameras, the bottom right one is actually an LED flashlight. Curiously, the label “P2D 50T” can be seen clearly on the LED, with no indication as to what it might mean.

The teasers also revealed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will be available in two colours – Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest. In terms of specs, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset can be seen clearly in the video teaser, while the phone is likely to be equipped with a RAM of either 8GB or 12GB, storage of 128GB or 256GB, and powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It also has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The OnePlus 10 Pro will be launched in China on 11 January. However, there hasn’t been any official statement on when the phone will be released globally, so stay tuned for more details.
