has been really generous in teasing its new flagship phone for the past few weeks but there’s no need to rely on teasers anymore because the OnePlus 10 Pro has officially launched in its native country yesterday.
Display
The phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display that supports an adaptive refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz. OnePlus makes use of a feature called “dual calibration” tech to ensure that the display remains colour-accurate whether you’re in a bright or dim setting.
Hardware
The company also introduced “Hyperboost” mode — a feature to boost the phone’s gaming performance by giving you tools to “overclock” your CPU if you want. Other than that, it runs on ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 out of the box.
Camera
In terms of imaging, the triple-camera setup consists of a 48MP Sony IMX789 sensor, a 50MP ultrawide 150° angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom. As for selfies, you get a 32MP camera that can record up to 4K at 120FPS or 8K at 30FPS.
The Hasselblad branding isn’t for decoration, of course — this collaboration brings in improved colour tuning AKA Natural Colour Optimisation 2.0, along with Pro Mode 2.0 RAW shooting mode that allows users to capture content in 12-bit RAW.
Pricing
The OnePlus 10 Pro is available in Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest, and it’s priced at CNY4,699 (~RM3084) for the 8GB+128GB model, CNY4,999 (~RM3281) for the 8GB+256GB model, and CNY5,299 (~RM3478) for the 12GB+256GB model. There’s no word on when it’ll arrive in Malaysia yet, but we’ll keep you updated so stay tuned.
