Last week we’ve seen a couple of leaked images of a supposed OnePlus 3 in the flesh, but the device in the images look far from being a OnePlus 3, making it sketchy overall. We’ve come across some renders which is said to be official of the next “Flagship Killer”, and the handset’s design this time round make more sense, although it still somewhat strays away from the previous OnePlus flagships.
The image shows the alleged OnePlus 3, which looks a little similar to Sony’s Xperia smartphones, rather than a direct imitation of a HTC device as seen on the last “leak”. The OnePlus 3 seems to be surrounded by a metal frame, which can still be connected to the recent “leak”. However, the rear of the device isn’t revealed this time, so there’s still a possibility that the OnePlus 3 might feature a HTC back. Also spotted on the device is an additional button aside from the volume rocker and power buttons, which might be a dedicated camera shutter button.
The OnePlus 3 is said to feature a 5.5-inch 1080p screen with a Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 6GB of RAM for the high-end variant. It is rumored to come with a 16MP rear camera and 8MP selfie shooter on the front. OPPO’s Super VOOC charging technology is said to come with the handset as well, which is tipped to pack a 3,500mAh battery. What are your thoughts on these renders and rumors so far?
