What’s better than a single graphics card related event? Two graphics card related events! Nvidia is obviously not going to let AMD hog the spotlight with its Vega graphics cards as the company will reveal the GTX1080 Ti on the 28th of February as well.
Just recently, Nvidia added a countdown clock to its GeForce website that slowly ticks down towards the 28th of February. While that in itself doesn’t outright state that the GTX 1080 Ti will indeed be behind the countdown, VideoCardz has discovered mentions of the GTX1080 Ti hidden in the countdown clock’s source code. If you’re looking to find the source code yourself right now, it appears that Nvidia has since removed mentions of the card from the code.
With Nvidia also holding its own graphics card event on the 28th of February, it be interesting to see who’s going to come out on top in this “graphics card conference wars.” Whatever the case, GDC 2017 is looking to be mighty interesting this year.
