NVIDIA opens pre-orders for the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics card at $450

NVIDIA has officially introduced the GTX 1070 Ti, a graphics card that falls in between the 1080 and the 1070 but still offering quite a significant improvement over the non-Ti version of the card.

It comes with 2432 cores comparing to 1070 which has 1920 cores, 8GB of GDDR5 RAM and memory speed of 8Gpbs. Based on the stats, it seems to be double in performance compared to the GTX 970 card and NVIDIA has mentioned that it will have no problems with it comes to overclocking.

Pre-orders have also been open and it will retail for $450 (RM1908.22) in the US. We should be expecting to see many other companies offering the Ti version of their 1070 in the coming weeks but if you want the founder’s edition, you will have to get it from their official online store.

This will be a good option for those of you that want a powerful graphics card but don’t want to fork out the high price point of the 1080 but need something slightly stronger than the 1070. Will you be getting the new and probably last graphics card NVIDIA will release this year?
